Travelling Taitung: Indigenous Cultures and Coastal Charm

If it is changed to another store, maybe the store sign can be more obvious ~ ps. I didn’t see the signboard related to the store name, but I’m not sure if it’s closed.
Pork is cooked nicely to a pink color, soft anf easy to eat, and the lightly aromatic pork fat encourages you to take another bite into a second piece.. Food is priced reasonably at such a quality and is definitely a surprise for those who chance upon this place while visiting Taitung. 臺東伴手禮 We tried the creative tonokotsu roll platter (创意猪肉卷), which was interesting but we still loved the original pork cutlet (猪排里肌单点). The pork cutlet is a must try if u have to pick only one dish to try. Nice little street food restaurant that serves a few vegans dishes only .

But was extremely disappointed to find a huge piece of plastic in my cabbage. And we were comped that dish and a bottle of juice only. It's a bus tour group stop, so it's a very busy spot. Would probably give it a higher review if it weren't for the finding random object in food part, because honestly that grilled fish was  very delicious. It's quite greasy, and I felt so full after just one portion. It took about 10 minutes to queue during the holiday.
The clouds here is unbelievably amazing, just a random shoot gave super fantastic or even animesque pictures. The only thing is taitung station is very far from the taitung city center, and you need some bus or taxi transit if your accommodation or attraction destination is inside the city or on the coast. The seafood restaurant 港口海產店, which has been around for 40 years, is located in the beautiful setting of Taitung Fugang Fishing Port.
The prices are relatively inexpensive making it an excellent dining option in Taitung. Nice burger place to stop in  on your way through the east coast. There burgers themselves were also great, but the bun wasn't as good, Which took away from the experience. 東鼎牛肉麵館 is a simple eatery offering a variety of noodle dishes and homestyle plates. While the beef noodle soup receives an average rating, other menu items receive high praise.

If the restaurant could clean those forks, spoons, knives … etc, no doubt that I would award it four or more stars here. By the way, its a/c is very good, which is quite attractive in hot summer days. This is a great place to spend the day in totally fun, clean, and easy to get around hot springs, complete with showers and lockers, a cold pool, and a resting area.

Overall, this café provides a delightful atmosphere for relaxation and an ideal location to spend a leisurely afternoon.

There was a live musician by the purple Christmas tree at the front of the road and there were quite a few people visiting although it's low season and a lot of the stalls weren't open that day. There's a selection of handicraft such as scented candles to choose from and you'll find a place to sit down and have a beer. The lanterns look lovely at night  and give the place a special charm. Opening time says 5pm, but shouldn’t go there before 6-7 ish, because many food stalls need some more time to get the food ready. If you are looking for varieties of food stalls with local delights, this is the go to place.

You will have the chance to taste indigenous cuisine such as the Paiwan millet rice dumpling, Amis marinated meats, local breweries, and other traditional and modern fusion slow food dishes. However, if you’re a beginner, you may want to start with the Guanshan Bicycle Trail or Taitung County Road 197 before tackling the more difficult slopes. No matter which slope you choose, conquering the steep slopes of Taitung by bike is an experience you won’t soon forget. After your hike, relax and rejuvenate in one of the area’s many hot springs.
