In our languages program, we introduce simple vocabulary and phrases through songs, stories, and interactive play in a second language. This program also supports emotional development by teaching children how to relax, focus, and express their feelings. Unlike childcare centres, which offer long day care, kindergartens and preschools usually only run for six hours a day, five days a fortnight (three days one week, two days the next) during each school term. The children pray a short prayer before eating morning tea, and a short Bible study and prayers are optional for mothers who wish to do so. A donation of $5 is kindly requested (but not compulsory) to cover the costs of hall hire, craft activities and morning tea. They are very passionate and care deeply about my child's education which is very good to see as a parent. My child first came to ALA as she was behind in her reading and spelling. After working with my child for 2 terms they have been able to increase her confidence and skills she has now caught up to the rest of the class and loves coming. Thank you to the team for making Kindalin a great place for our our kids to learn and grow in a caring and stimulating environment. I feel confident my daughter is getting great care from warm and loving carers. This is our third childcare centre and at last we can rest easy knowing Ayla has her needs met.
