Nutritious meals and snacks are included in your fees at most Milestones centres, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. For integrated kindergarten programs (where kinder is a part of long day care), Free Kinder will appear as a weekly credit of $50.00 on your YMCA account statement. We deduct this credit from your fees, so you'll only need to pay for the cost of day care. To support our families, we offer both permanent and casual enrolment options. Here at First Idea Family Day Care, we emphasize more on providing an environment where your child will feel safe and have fun throughout the day.
We are Australia’s largest early learning and childcare provider with more than 650 centres across Australia. It’s common for a child to experience separation anxiety when they first start child care.  When you’re getting ready to start child care, you can help your child overcome anxieties by visiting the child care service together for a Stay and Play session, and easing into new routines at home. Our Family Support Team will add your child’s name to our waitlist if one of our childcare centres is currently full in your child’s age group. On the day of the tour, you can observe practices and interactions within the centre environment.
By fostering this inquisitive mindset, we help them develop critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of the world around them. 3-6 yearsNot only do we offer an action-packed, immersive and engaging curriculum, but free kindergarten is available at Kool Kidz. Our 15-hour per week program for four-year-olds and 5-to-15-hour program for three-year-olds saves you $2,101 per child. Our purpose-built daycare and kindergarten centre in Narre Warren offers innovative early learning programs in a safe and nurturing environment. Our Narre Warren childcare centre features spacious outdoor environments, setting us apart from others in our area. We have a climbing fort in our Kinder 3 and 4 yard and age-appropriate climbing equipment in our Under 3 yard.
We focus on building secure relationships between children and educators, closely following home routines, and supporting each child in meeting their developmental milestones. We also offer a government-approved kindergarten program to prepare children for a confident start to school. Fresh, healthy meals are prepared onsite daily to support children’s growth and wellbeing. I have worked with this age group for the past four years and hold a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

Teaching children about different cultures is also important to us, so we incorporate cultural celebrations into our program. At our centre, children can get involved in range of activities that encourage their creativity and develop their numeracy and literacy skills. Our lending library, for example, encourages a love of reading from an early age. Our early learning program encourages your child to learn and discover in a fun, friendly and supportive environment. The Childcare Subsidy is a payment provided by Centrelink to support families in their payment of childcare fees.
