Bayswater Childcare

The centre was named the Silverwood Day Nursery and offered long day care to children 0-5 years of age. Meticulously designed, our Bayswater centre provides a natural haven for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years atop the Mountain High Shopping Centre. Our educational programs enhance children’s knowledge of the natural environment and how to reduce our environmental footprint.
On the day of the tour, you preschool bayswater can observe practices and interactions within the centre environment. You’ll be able to see all the rooms and playgrounds, ask the team members any questions you have in mind, and get all the information you need to make the best decision for your child. As your child prepares to head home, this is your opportunity to speak with our friendly educators about your child’s day and everything they learnt. The centre has a wonderful respect and understanding for our child's individual uniqueness and is supportive of our family type.

Caring, loving and kind – From the Management Team to the Educators, chef and staff; they are all passionate about the kids development and they take sincere interest in creating an inclusive, caring and safe environment for the children. I appreciate the regular updates we get throughout the day and the photos to see what our kids have been up to with they're friends. Understanding the need for reliable and safe transportation for families, we have partnered with KaGo to offer an exemplary service that includes home pickup and drop-off for added convenience. This service is enhanced with live tracking features for parents to have real-time updates and peace of mind about their child’s location and safety when travelling to and from our centre. We foster a learning environment that celebrates diversity, embraces differences, and builds a culture of kindness, empathy, and inclusion. From day one, each child is supported by a Key Educator, helping them develop a secure and trusting relationship, which supports their sense of belonging and emotional well-being. Spread across two levels, their dedicated Nursery and Kinder areas are connected by a central staircase, allowing these differing developmental groups to learn, play, run and explore effortlessly within their own purpose-built spaces.

For the enrolment process you will be asked to bring along to the centre with you your child’s immunisation record and birth certificate, we can photocopy these at the centre for you. We will also need your Family Customer Reference Number (CRN) and your child’s CRN which can be obtained from the Family Assistance Office. The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family’s needs. Once families have completed a tour, they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.
This was followed by the opening of Morley Out of School Care at Weld Square Primary School in Morley in 1988. The Bayswater Child Care Association Incorporated was established in 1975 after a need was identified in the City of Bayswater for community-based, Not-for-profit childcare. Our long day care program operates from our Children and Family Centres. Everyone is welcome to come and take a tour of the centre at any time (no bookings necessary for this).

Our school holiday program offers a rich tapestry of activities, thoughtfully curated to engage children of various interests and ages. I am a caring, responsible, and patient individual with a strong passion for working with children. I have completed a caregiver course and gained hands-on experience supporting children’s physical, emotional, and social development.

It is a program that has been designed to challenge all of our students while remaining flexible enough to accommodate the needs and preferences of your child’s learning.
Additionally, we offer personalised support for children who may require extra attention to ensure their safety and comfort. Our families love hearing about their child’s progress and the experiences they’re having day to day. We share these moments through centre newsletters, our Xplor App, one-on-one meetings, and at various centre events. We have two children who have attended Meraki ELC, and are very happy with the level of care they receive.
