Café Rebecca is a charming and unique coffee shop with imaginative decor, serving excellent coffee accompanied by warm and welcoming service. The waffles offered are enjoyable, although there may be slightly superior options available at other establishments in Taiwan. Overall, this café provides a delightful atmosphere for relaxation and an ideal location to spend a leisurely afternoon. The owner of the shop, Ms. Lin, is from Taitung.
It was a short street but it does offer a wide selection of street foods. This night market would be great if there were trash bins around it. It is very difficult to throw used plates and utensils. Many desserts 台東名產伴手禮 and sweets options to choose from with beautiful and creative packaging. Price is quite high though so we just did some window shopping. Attached to the shop are a small takeaway cafe and icecream place.
She studied in Europe and worked for several foreign companies in Taiwan. Now she has returned to her hometown to develop her business. Later, it was expropriated because of the road widening. There is only one small room left in the house.
Soup, rice with chickpeas, quiche and the apple pie...everything was delicious! We also enjoyed chatting with the owner of this little vegetarian restaurant. I usually don’t write negative reviews… But this restaurant has the worst customer service. I was looking forward to a positive experience but the food took over an hour to get our order completed. No apologies, no urgency, and no customer service. The brownie is really really worth to try, solid but soft, sweet but also slightly bitter from cocoa, let me want to order it in every visit.
And the best way forGenshin Impactplayers to acquire these Ascension materials will be to visit the Souvenir Shop in either Monstadt or Liyue. Some festivals may offer early bird discounts or package deals, so it’s best to plan ahead and book your tickets in advance. Scenic spot on the east coast called Little Yeliu .When you arrive at Fugang Geopark go to the visitor center and learn about the ecological evolution of Fugang. I am really amazed in seaside plant and happy to hear the relaxing sound of wave coming from the ocean while walking on the coconut trail. I can hear the chirping of birds.Relaxing quiet atmophere of the mountain forest. You can take a rest in the pavillion and listen to the natural music of the waves. I also enjoy the breathtaking view of dancing ocean with thick layers of sandstone and thin layers of mudstone. If you love natural wonder of nature you will surely enjoy it.
Yuli, as well as the next three towns in Taitung County are great options for breaking up your journey from Hualien to Kenting and spending the night. If I could only choose one on a short trip to Taiwan, I’d probably go for Chishang, but all describe all four towns below. Ruisui Sunshine B&B (see on Booking / Agoda / TripAdvisor) offers beautiful rooms with a private tub on your own balcony complete with mountain views. Because it’s quite close to Hualien City, you could also do this as an easy day trip from Hualien.
101 Single Bar in Taipei also offers dorm rooms with bunk beds, for male and females. The bathroom is also shared, but they have like 3 bath rooms and toilets for every floor. If you want to surprise your friends and show them how exotic your vacation was, get one of the creepy Bangkok souvenirs.
I loved this night market; it is always full of people. Look for the sticky rice place; it is the best sticky rice I have ever tried so far and the lady behind the place is really nice. The night street is pretty similar to the ones in Taipei, offering a variety of street food from grilled meat to bubble tea, cocktails, games, etc. It is the busiest street in kenting town, about a km long. Kenting Night Market is a bustling and vibrant market offering a wide array of Taiwanese delicacies such as fried squid and grilled corn.
Savor the array of street food offerings from stinky tofu to seafood pancakes, and shop for souvenirs among the stalls selling artisan crafts and local products. Welcome to Taitung, where your adventure begins in Taiwan’s hidden gem on the east coast. Known for its serenity, natural beauty, and rich culture, it’s the perfect destination for a weekend getaway. Lisong Hot Spring (栗松溫泉), Taiwan’s prettiest wild hot spring, is a 1.5-hour drive from Chishang up the Southern Cross-Island Highway. It’s a tough, 4-hour-return hike to the colorful riverside spring. Guanshan (關山) is the next town worth considering. It used to be the most famous cycling spot before Chishang took over. There’s a lot to know about Chishang, so I suggest you visit my Chishang guide. If you’re driving from Hualien to Taitung, see my Hualien guide for possible stops before reaching Taitung.
Dried durian, durian chips, durian candy, no matter which one you pick, this would be a great Bangkok souvenir to bring to your office colleagues . If you arrived on the backroads route #2 coming in from the east, shortly after Longpan Park, you’ll hit the Eluanbi Lighthouse at the Southern tip of Taiwan. After that, you’ll pass a great beach at Sail Rock before reaching Kenting village. This route is definitely a few hours slower, especially since there aren’t many notable stops on Route #1.
